Job Description
Develop, customize, and extend IBM Maximo software applications to align with business requirements.
Design and implement complex automation scripts (Python, Jython, or JavaScript) within the Maximo framework.
Build and manage Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) configurations for seamless data exchange with external enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, etc.).
Create, modify, and optimize Maximo database structures, objects, attributes, and relationships (DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server).
Design custom BIRT reports and dashboards for key asset performance metrics and management tracking.
Perform system upgrades, patch installations, bug fixes, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to convert functional specifications into detailed technical designs.
Mandatory Skills
Strong hands-on development experience with IBM Maximo (v7.6 or v8.x / MAS).
Core proficiency in Java, J2EE, and XML/JSON.
Expertise in Automation Scripting using Python, Jython, or JavaScript within Maximo.
Deep knowledge of Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) (REST APIs, Web Services, JMS, OSLC).
Advanced SQL skills and database management experience (Oracle, IBM DB2, or MS SQL Server).
Experience with BIRT Report Development and custom screen modification (Application Designer).
Preferred Skills
Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 8/9) and Red Hat OpenShift environments.
Certification as an IBM Maximo Technical/Application Developer.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
Background in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) processes (Work Management, Asset Management, Purchasing, Inventory).
